Please help the staff at All the Above Dance Company, LLC by abiding by the guidelines. Dress code is part of what builds the structure that is necessary for each dancer to receive the optimum experience. Please DO NOT wear any of your dance shoes outside as we don’t want dirt, rocks, debris on the studio floors. Failure to abide by any of the dress code rules may result in the class instructor asking the dancer to sit and watch the class instead of participating.
ALL ballet students should have tights (black, white, pink, or tan) and a leotard. Students enrolled in Beginner I and higher may wear tight shorts or a ballet skirt (approved by the owner). Boys must wear a tightly fitting tank top or shirt (black or white), and shorts or pants (approved by the owner). Ballet slippers are REQUIRED and hair must be pulled back AND in a bun. All ballet students wishing to be in a pointe class must be pre-approved by the studio owner. Similar to ballet, pointe shoes are required.
ALL tap students are allowed to wear loose fitting dance clothes. Tap shoes are required and necessary for the dancer to participate in class.
ALL jazz students are allowed to wear jazz pants and a tank top or tightly fitting shirt. Jazz shoes are required and necessary for the dancer to participate in class.
ALL modern/lyrical dancers are allowed to wear comfortably fitting dance attire. Hair must be pulled back. NO shoes or socks allowed.
ALL hip hop dancers are allowed to wear sneakers that are used only for dance, we do not allow outside (street) shoes. Dance pants and comfortable shirts ALLOWED and encouraged! No hats allowed, but bandanas are acceptable.
